TO BUYERS OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE DIRECTORIES

It has been brought to our attention that some unscrupulous individuals and organisations have been copying older editions of THE INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORY OF IMPORTERS and attempting to sell them illegally on the Internet under various "Importers" titles and as CD's.

Use caution when ordering directories of importers on the Internet and make sure you know exactly with whom you are dealing. At best you may receive outdated directories; or worse, you may never hear from that company again.

Buy only from REPUTABLE AND ESTABLISHED FIRMS and only purchase directories with an established track record. You will be safe with directories that have been published for the last 15 years or at least since before the advent of the Internet and Internet scams.
